Diwali Dunz is an immersive cultural experience founded by Ambika Sanjana and Dr. Varshini Muralikrishnan, reimagines Diwali through a modern lens. This celebration welcomes families and friends to experience Diwali in a way that feels joyful, meaningful, and connected.
Through educational and fun workshops, interactive activities, curated food journeys, and the radiant glow of diyas, every moment is designed to spark discovery and joy.
Diwali Dunz honors heritage while bridging it with creativity, giving the next generation the chance to learn why we do certain cultural traditions in ways that inspire, connect, and delight.
By joining us, we hope you’ll take the very essence of this festival back home, carrying its light, meaning, and joy into your own traditions.
Just as Diwali is about spreading light, this festival helps extend that light to those who need it most. Proceeds from Diwali Dunz support SevaSphere, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to nourishing and empowering the Skid Row community.
Meet the Founders
AmbiKa is a seasoned event producer with over a decade of experience shaping some of the world’s most iconic stages, including the Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, and Grammys. Known for her ability to blend precision with creativity, she designs productions that are not only visually stunning but also emotionally resonant and impactful.
She is also the CEO and founder of SevaSphere, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting the unhoused community on Skidrow through empowering programs and nourishing meals. Through SevaSphere, AmbiKa channels her passion for purpose-driven work, ensuring that creativity becomes a vehicle for compassion and social change.
Her productions transcend traditional events, transforming into immersive experiences that spark conversation, unite cultures, and leave lasting impressions. By bringing together artistry and intention, AmbiKa continues to redefine global gatherings and elevate every space she touches.

Dr. Varshini Muralikrishnan
Dr. Varshini Muralikrishnan, also known as The Musical Doc, is a multidisciplinary creative, artist, educator, and digital marketing expert, blending strategy, storytelling, and visual impact to elevate purpose-driven brands. As the founder of TMD Studios, she leads innovative marketing and content initiatives across industries.
An accomplished performer, she has graced world stages from the United Nations and Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall, and brought her voice to arenas singing the National Anthem for the Lakers and LA Kings. In addition to her performances, she shares her artistry as a teacher of Classical Indian music, guiding students worldwide through the Spring Nectar Foundation and Cambridge University. Whether through music or media, Dr. Muralikrishnan embodies the spirit of a new generation of visionary creators—blending disciplines, cultures, and communities to spark inspiration and lasting impact.
